Shih-Hsuan Kuo is a Taiwanese cinematographer whose filmmaking journey began at a young age. He learned from industry professionals starting at age 10 and began as a camera operator for local studios. Over the past decade, he has worked on shorts, documentaries, music videos, and commercials in Taiwan.

 

After relocating to Los Angeles, he pursued an MFA in cinematography at Chapman University, learning from leading cinematographers. Recently, he received the Panavision New Filmmaker Program equipment grant for his short film project, "MOVE." Upon graduating, Kuo was selected as one of four cinematographers for Issa Rae and Deniese Davis’s ColorCreative’s Find Your People Program 2024 cohort.

His work has been showcased at renowned film festivals, including the LA Shorts International Film Festival, Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, and Out On Film: Atlanta's LGBTQ Film Festival. Shih-Hsuan aims to create authentic realities that resonate deeply with audiences, translating the director's vision into visually captivating narratives.

His profound sensitivity to human emotion shapes his storytelling. Rooted in Taiwanese cultural values of hospitality, diversity, and compassion, he is passionate about learning from diverse cultural perspectives and collaborating with directors who bring unique viewpoints to their stories.

郭世宣，電影攝影師，現居洛杉磯。美國加州查普曼大學 (Chapman University - Dodge College of Film and Media Arts) 電影攝影藝術碩士。曾在台灣有超過十年的影像製作經驗，作品類型包含了劇情短片、紀錄片、商業廣告及MV。

攝影作品曾在奧斯卡認證影展放映，包括洛杉磯國際短片影展、羅德島國際影展及Out On Film亞特蘭大LBGTQ影展。此外碩士畢業作品《MOVE》榮獲美國Panavision新電影人計劃輔導金（Panavision New Filmmakers Program Equipment Grant)。
